No Smith wont come over, shame. It was only for about two months towards the end of 2006. i dont think we set the league on fire or anything in that time, and I suspect my rose tinted view of the spell is tainted because we beat saints in something like the second game he was here and then thumped the giants. (no chance or either of those results at the mo )

...still dont think Cullen is the answer though even if McNamara walked, I like the idea of Hanley or McDermott but Im not convinced either would be guaraneteed to do better with our current resources.

McNamara just needs time lad, just needs time - keep the faith and he too could yet unify us all.

He was here for 12 games in that time we won 7 drew 1 and lost 4.

I can`t actually believe i sat through 80 minutes of that game. We were utter trash.

Have to say the only player that is playing well is Platty and that saying something, the rest of the team are clueless, its about time macca got some bottle and started dropping these players and start bringing some of the academy side in and show how the game is played, put it this way we can`t play any worst than that display tonight it was embarrasing.

I had alot of faith with Macca but its time he was on his way, we have done nothing in the 3 years and will we not win anything if he stays.

I hate to say it but i hope macca resigns monday morning.

Sorry but that won't mae a difference you'll still have the same coach running it. You can have the fastest racehorse but with out the right jockey you won't win the race.

One thing I don't understand is, why didnt McNamara tell the Burgess, Scruton, Worrincy etc. to run at Sam Tomkins. Teams do it to Deacon, why not capitalise on a players size?
