When will Lamb get it around his head that the Bulls won't ever do anything if it is fan owned/run. There are simply not enough fans to make it successful who actually have time on their hands and cash.

Don't get me wrong, a wealthy backer with a small fan representation on the board would do the world of good, if the fans are the right people (ie, mix of good business knowledge and rugby knowledge/expertise) however this would be a small representation and not actually own the club.

Well if liquidated I assume we would have no obligation to play at Odsal and we would be a part time outfit in L1. So in that scenario it might well be possible to have a Supporter Trust model. But pro RL in Bradford would be dead and buried and it would be a long and unlikely road back given all that has happened I'm afraid.

It won't happen. Studd and Richard Lamb are both dreaming if they think a club of this size can be run by a supporters trust, or even just part financed by one.
We have a core support of what, 4k?
People pushing this idea always quote Rangers as the example of it working - conveniently forgetting that their support base is at least ten times the size of ours.

Regarding senior players being informed of developments by the administrator. The RFL and administrators would only communicate information to the senior manager at the club, in present circumstances that's Stuart Duffy, and the Head Coach. The administrators only contacted the senior players after they had been very vocal on Twitter about being kept in the dark. I'll leave it up to the intelligent members of this forum to decide if they think Mr Duffy and Mr Smith were aware of proceedings or not.

Which if true (not that I'm doubting you a lot of what you have out has been spot on) would explain the fallouts if any

I'm not a fan either, but if liquidated it wouldn't be what we currently have, would it? And I doubt it would likely get to that anytime soon under supporter control unfortunately.

Well if we're liquidated and end up playing part time (or worse) in champ 1 then that's me done anyway so Lamb can do whatever the hell he wants.

EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN

Re: Administration 3 - now in technicolour : Sun Jan 01, 2017 11:10 pm
Won't the main problem be the proximity of the 2017 season? The RFL can possibly negotiate a lease quickly with a new club, but all the other things have to be agreed with people like the security company, as well as the playing contracts. I can't imagine you could form a new company, arrange a supporters trust, negotiate all the player contracts and everything else required to put on a professional rugby match with 4000 paying customers in the time before the first fixture.

Good luck tomorrow.

Excuse my ignorance but how the hell is all that supposed to work? Do we have a whip round every pay day? I can't even afford a season ticket never mind help finance a club.

I have the white flag by my side now. The only thing keeping the majority of the 4k home crowd is the half expectancy that the team might do something on the pitch. Liquidate the club and lose the top player and half of the support will bail. The numbers left will not be enough to finance a club. I'm fearing the worst right now and I'm not sure that I can watch it happen. Somebody please explain how liquidation is a good thing?
