six serious interested parties have registered expressions of interest according to administrator on radio leeds this morning. several look very promising with regards to amont of funding they have available,

Heard an interview with Rohan Smith earlier and it is pleasing to hear that he and the players are just cracking on with pre-season as normal. He spoke of us having 3 pre-season friendlies planned for Jan (Batley/Hudds/Keighley) and he certainly didn't sound like a guy with the weight of the world on his shoulders. It might be that sort of attitude/leadership/positivity that helps us keep our squad should we get a new owner in the near future.

Thats my thinking too.. For me - it's Rohan and the team I'll be supporting and buying my season ticket once we have an owner.

I maintain we are on the brink of getting somewhere under his stewardship and the youth setup we have and I'm not prepared to walk away from that

I don't think our troubles for next season will come due to the ownership, the most damage to our future will come from the RFL, judge jury and hangman without governance.

I expect us to get a new owner soon. I personally hope it is Lawn.
The main danger after securing a new owner is losing half a dozen players that currently give us a chance next season. If we get away with 6 points and keep our key players we can still finish top 4. The squad we have now would definitely have finished in the top 3 this season - so why not next year as long as we are financially sound and only 6 points behind. 12 would be very difficult for top 4 but I still wouldn't expect us to go down as this squad should be able to beat most teams except the top couple.

That is my optimistic view and I am sticking with it till I am persuaded otherwise.

I'm sure we can rely on those clever bods at the RFL to let the most suitable bidder who passes all their thorough tests to be allowed to take over the Bulls.

I mean, thats worked well over the past few years hasn't it?
