So Macca's had "the vote of confidence". It can't be long before he's eventually out then!

Unfortunately I find it hard to see any prospect of improvement while he remains in charge. The deterioration over the past 3 years speaks for itself and carries more weight than any game where we've played well for 40mins. How much this decline is purely down to Macca is anyone's guess but I suspect that cost cutting has a lot to do with it.

Of course the club are skint and will have no wish to change coaches given the expense but if the decline continues, and I see no reason to suggest it won't then their hands may be forced.

After that comment, I can't see Macca being sacked until at least halfway through the season, if not then the playoffs. Hood still seems to have confidence in McNamara (Goodness knows why) so I doubt we'll be seeing a change of coach very soon.

Well lets just hope the sort it quick! Because come Friday we are against a good team (hate having to say that!) and if the performance is not there - and i do not mean win - by that then the fans will be calling at the match for both the coach and chairman.
Personally I will back the team if they give 100% effort for 80mins

As it has been mentioned elsewhere, he should walk, not be sacked so we do not have to pay him off. He has been an atrocious appointment and has to face facts that he cannot sort this.

Of course, it should also be mentioned that more and more want him out now too. Time to see sense and face facts Mr M, you are failing and not many seem to want you around anymore.

I wonder if, rather than facing mass stoning at Odsal on Friday, you will now be rightfully recognised as a true visionary?

Don't think i'm biased...
...i'm just very narrow minded!!!!!!!

I rememeber some years back us having a collection around the ground to pay for the transfer of Deryck Fox.

Perhaps we could do the same to pay for McBananas severance pay, that is if the club really are strapped for cash!!!

That said I cannot understand why we cannot afford this given that Bird never arrived and Tame has now gone.

We'll be lucky to get 16000 on Friday but if everyone gave £1 we could have a chance of getting rid of the numpty!!!

You'd be looking at a six-figure settlement. Easy.

And a load more to pay the considerably higher cost of the replacement coaching team you'd have to try and entice at short order.

One assumes Tupou going was necessary anyway to accommodate Bird?

And the impact of the recession - far worse than it will have looked when the budgets were done - and of the onfield performance on projected income for the rest of the season may well mean the club is in no position now anyway to pay out anything that might be spare under the cap.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

Why. As for Bird at the time I got told it was a publicity stunt and it seems it may be right in how easily he went to Catalans.
