Yeah, but I'd rather be getting on a roll near the back end of the season (providing we get a play-off place ) than get the wins now. A GF win is better than 10 league wins (unless they're against Whinos )
The league table doesn't lie, lets see where we are after the fabled 10 games. I'm not bothered about rolls or nor do i expect to win every game, but 1 win from 6 is worrying.
Old Mr Jones went to his surgery for his annual health check. The practice nurse said to him, Mr Jones you have to stop masturbating. Why, he said. Because I'm trying to examine you she replied
Could not agree more. I'm as gutted as everyone about that last ten mins (although Cas were outstanding in that period, to be fair).
But It does get a bit grating when all you hear from some quarters is that we are just crap. Was a fair bit of comment round where I was stood about that.
I agree, but it's always going to happen, even more so when we lose games.
It's so easy to find the bad points, when you feel you are down on the back of another loss.
Hopefully the mood will change again over the next few days

Yes it is worrying, but it's still early days. It would feel better to win the GF from 8th after a hard struggling season than to walk it all finishing 1st.

We are 5 points adrifrt of Wakefield in 8th and our next 2 games are Leeds and Wakefield.

yeah i know what you mean but I hope they start to get the wins soon, as i said today showed signs of improvement lets just build from that and see what happens.
I didnt think our defense particularly deteriorated in those last 10 mins, just that Cas took their chances whereas earlier in the game they'd made plenty of breaks without making them count.
Not the worst defeat of the season by any means, but at our current standard we need to make sure we pick up the points in those games that we have a chance of winning.
Does it matter if they were good tries our not. We couldn't hold them out and thats what matters.
Is it?
Sure we all want to win every game, but a narrow loss in a fine game away at Cas would, all other things being equal, not be that disastrous. We collapsed in the last 10 minutes or so, and what cost us dearly was losing the ball straight after the scrum, and the kick out on the full, but you can't say Cas weren't worth their win, or that we didn't play a full part. Your sig says:
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
Can you accept failure, as we were sure trying, trying our bloody socks off!

I wouldn't have a problem with that. But to be 16 points in front with 10 minutes left and end up loosing isn't good enough.
