Having said we opened our bars to away fans I was very annoyed that the touchdown bar was closed after the game for the first time EVER because of the behaviour of some Hull KR fans visiting the bar during the game.

Thanks Hull KR!

We NEVER behave like that at your ground so what exactly is your problem?

Please get it right.

And what happened? Also, what did you mean regarding the KC's bars being shut to Away supporters?

Went up 20 mins before end and they closed it then, the kr fans got their beer and and started kicking off and saying to stewards etc that they just wanted to watch the match from inside the bar, they wouldnt leave and kicked up a major fuss, they had no choice but to get them all kicked out and shut the bar.

The amount of swearing in the stands was unbelievable, couple were stood side of us effing and blinding and hurling abuse at ref, when i said ow no need for that when kids around he said to my kids pardon my french but he is a fxxxxxx pxxx.

when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

What occurred Andrea?

Were there any additional police on duty today?

I couldn't say for sure. I was in the ground from very early on. I drank in the VIP bar (guest of a ticket holder) after the game and left long after most of the rovers fans had gone home.

I did see them fighting on the steps at the back of the away end though and when we reached the touchdown it was closed. The stewards told us why.

The club will have lost a lot of money due to having the bar closed after the game. A lot of people have a quick drink on the way out and some usually stay for a screening of the game.
I really really hope we bill rovers for the lost revenue!

Ref spoilt it for me... that and nothing from the home support, less the drummer of course (occasionally) 8)

yep the stewards had no option what so ever. There was a lot more than complaining from the rovers fans and the barstaff have a right not to have to endure threatening behaviour!

Sometimes it is really difficult coming from the same city. And embarrassing. But please do not tar us all with the same brush. After all, your coach still lives (and likes it) here.

Have to agree they were totally disgrace to themselves and there club. A friend of mine was in there when it actually happened they were throwing bottles & glasses at the bar staff. And all because they were not getting served quick enough !!!!

Oh get lost! Do you really think you are so very different from people who live down the road from you? You are all the sodding same and only Hull fans can't see that!!!!!!!

We have to have more police on duty whenever any kind of Hull fans are in town and this costs us a lot of money.
We behave in Hull whichever ground the match is at so why can't you're lot behave like decent human beings in our ground!?!?!

It must be nice to have a few human beings in the away end when the Bulls visit CP... As far as more Police and costing you money ask your chairman which he prefers?....

I see.

So judging by your attitude, all Bradford fans are bigots waving tar covered brushes? They must be as they all live "down the road" from you

I've always enjoyed visiting Odsal and have never seen any trouble from Hull FC fans. I live and work in Hull and, with respect, encounter fans from both clubs daily. I feel there is a difference in overall attitude of each group.

Incidentally, no Bradford fan has EVER sworn or behaved drunkenly at any away ground have they?
