From what I have seen he would be a welcome addition to our backline. He does have a few clubs down under tracking in, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have a punt at signing him!

dont think we need to use a quota spot on a 29yr old 2nd rower. Not saying he isnt quality but think if we were going to use either ah van or herberts quota spot it would have to be on a back. Heighlinton might have a british passport but he would still be classed as non fed trained so effectively ties up a quota spot.

naiqama resigned with the Knights. no other descent overseas back available atm.

From what I'am led to believe the old RFL are on a rather sticky wicket over this.

I don't care what kind of passport Chris Heigington is on, if we had the chance we should snap him up in an instant.

'Bit' doesn't suggest anything major.

Perhaps a re-signing or contract extension. Royston or Ainscough for another year maybe....
