Think you will find fullback would be hall if not why come to a worse club and be backup there it really wouldn’t make sense to me I think Kear will be a utility man playing where he is needed whether on the bench or what but time will tell

Should go well for York next year. Never got a decent run of games for us for whatever reason. York learning their lesson of signing knackered Super League players and going for some younger blood.

Hitchcox signing for Leigh, we couldn’t afford him a couple of years ago and suspect we can’t now

Millar looks a decent signing with some pace

Eagles fans seem sad to lose him

Millars record is 54 in 111 games which seems a reasonable return for a player in a mid table side

Worse club? Yes they finished above us in the table but that was down to us utterly throwing it away. Fair play they beat us fair and square in the play-offs but hardly makes us a worse club.

Hall would be my preferred choice at FB as he looks to have the better passing skill set compared to the rest. But JK stuck with Kear at FB despite us having Brown who had played there before which is why I think he'll stick with him again. Hope I'm wrong as I don't think Kear at FB works.

That's fair enough, just John Kear was talking about being a serious contender next year. Not sure signing up Foggin Johnston and Millar as backline options will strike fear into Fev and Leigh.

All coaches, players and officials are going to talk up a clubs prospects and aims, not sure what else we would expect them to say?

If you're going to talk about being a genuine contender I think you have to back it up with some substance. Overall we've probably improved the squad but it needed more than a tinker to be a genuine contender. Just my thoughts, I'd prefer some realistic targets but I appreciate some fans prefer to dream a little.
