Reading between the lines of the RFL press release the bidders now know what the RFL want and have gone away to think about it. Frank seemed to be quite comfortable about it.

My worry is that it’s a bunch of chancers who’ve got to show proof of funds and they’re unable to do that.

Surely they wouldn't become so entrenched in negotiations if they knew they hadn't got the funds to go through with it?

He also mentions they're not training though, which I'm sure has been proven to be incorrect somewhere?

So maybe he's doing the Gledhill style of reporting. Wouldn't be the first time with Carter tbh, he doesn't seem very reliable.
