Like I said I didn't say if I thought we had offered more money or not, but debaser seems so sure that we haven't offered less money. But has yet to explain why he thinks this. Therefor me saying that he just hopes that it isn't true. No so hard to understand is it.
What are you on? Why would I care if it's true or not? You have no evidence at all that it is or isn't yet you come on and make a bold statement. I disagree with you. As has been pretty widely reported in the press and internet (I assume you can read?) Hull FC stepped in at the last moment with a "big money offer" and pouched Seymour from under the noses of the Bulls. Read into that what you will. You can think that he came to Hull for the priviledge of playing in the Black and White, but that would be naiivity of the highest order. He went where the money is, like all reasonable players.
who cares bout seymour? cut by 2 nrl teams, droped to 2nds by a 3rd. top attitude n talent that is
So what better half backs are available in this climate? There are no available English ones to speak of and the chance of getting one of the big names in Oz now is very slim with their new, higher salary cap coming in. Getting a current NRL half back who is only 26 isn't bad going.

Your evidence to the contrary is....?
So where have you seen that we came in with a big money offer? You don't believe that we offered less money, says differently here though.
The highly regarded 26-year-old, who can play scrum-half or stand-off, is being courted by Bradford Bulls, who want the Australian as part of their re-building plans.
However, Hull now seem certain to scupper that deal – and for less money than the Bulls are offering.

No one will know for sure only Bradford haven't got much to offer at this moment in time other than money, Hull on the other hand have recommendations from an ex player (Berrigan), a team mate already signed for Hull (heremiah), a great stadium and facilities and probably a greater potential to succeed (at this moment in time), which would probably outweigh money alone.
I actually disagree with the greater potential to suceed short to mid term. Whilst i believe hull are a better team, the vast majority of your better players are ageing. over the next 3 years you have ALOT of personel to replace, and you dont have a squad that will challenge hudds warrington or wigan before then imo.
What bradford do have is a nucleus of youngsters that if they kick on will give them a chance of challenging the top 4, hull dont seem to have that.

I agree with that post apart from saying that Hull don't have a nucleus of youngsters imo we have a good number with good quality. Players such as Westerman, Briscoe (who is arguably Englands first choice winger), Turner and Houghton. Theres also squad players Reece Lyne, Danny Nicklas, Liam Kent, Liam Cunningham, Ben Crooks, Williams, Aldous. Then others which should break through in a couple of years, Bowden, Pearce, Newton, Jack Briscoe.

What you may be overlooking is Bradford's chance of retaining these youngsters should they reach a certain level, ever since the Iestyn Harris debacle, Bradford have been a selling club.

Where do you get this idea from?
Sam Burgess? - He wanted to go, the club has first refusal on his return, and we got a decent chunk of cash instead of him going free a year later.
