I wonder what the arrangements are with Red Hall. Do the RFL own it or lease the offices? It would make such a lot of sense for them to move the HQ to Odsal.

I believe they are now renting it, they did own it but sold it and rent it back from the new owner

I'm suspicious of anyone who leave million pound/dollar tax bills unpaid.

Another thing that doesn't tally is that if Frank's bidder is as cashed up as he reckons is that cash all dependent on getting the lease? If it's Chalmers then why was League Weekly saying that austerity would need to be imposed if he took over? Surely if Chalmers and Frank's boys are the same people then that doesn't make sense? Or does it mean leasehold secured = cashed up. Leasehold not secured = part time outfit and no academy?

Whatever's going on my gut feeling is far less positive than it was. I'd like to be able to sit back and just let it play out...

I just find it so very odd that the lease is playing such a big part in the out come of all this.
Why don't the just buy the ground and then start building the stadium they want, I'm sure the rfl would then be more than happy to part with the lease

I think we can rule out Green. It has come from one person who is well known for making stuff up in fantasy land. Sadly a few have believed him. The RFL wouldn't be sat down at the table talking of selling the lease to the man who has just put us in admin.

If it is Chalmers & Lowe, then they must have some sort of financial backing if they are going to develop Odsal (which Frank seems certain of)

I don't think we'll get an answer today.

The RFL want to promote the game, the RFL want to help the club, the RFL want the wembley of the north, so sell the lease and you get it all!

Sadly, El Red seems like one of those few posters who is absolutely loving the fact we're in trouble and get's positively giddy and rubs our noses in it when it starts to look really bad.

We may hope for the best, but in a year that saw Brexit, Trump and the death of David Bowie, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Peter Vaughan, Andrew Sachs, Robert Vaughn, Leonard Cohen, Pete Burns, Jean Alexander, Gene Wilder, Caroline Aherne, Muhammad Ali, Carla Lane, Prince, Victoria Wood, David Gest, Denise Robertson, Ronnie Corbett, Paul Daniels, Tony Warren, Frank Kelly, Sir Terry Wogan, Alan Rickman…how likely is that?!
