Why? What's changed since last year when Donno signed a 2yr deal with us (the second year dependent on appearances in this year).

He's a hardworking 2nd rower. Powerful defensively, not flashy, can pick up penalties when he ducks his head. Most clubs have a couple of them on their books already.

Please don't get me wrong I would LOVE Donaldson to stay but realistically thinking he has one of the best defence records in the league . I'm pretty sure a lot of super league teams will want him.

it's rumoured a young backrower from the bulls is heading to hull fc. I know olbison and fergie have signed deals, has Donaldson and addy still have contracts with the bulls?

They've not announced anything for next season as yet. I assume the SL contracts are dead at the end of the season, though they are two home grown players I'd hope we'd be trying to keep.

Could be any one of Addy, Donaldson, Mellor or Roberts.
I would like us to keep all 4 if possible, hands off Hull!

Would be a strange one for me they have westerman for that role plus is it just me or do him and Jordan Abdull seem very similar players size and position wise?

As a bench man, Addy is likely to be one of the most useful in SL since I'm struggling to think of a position he's not covered and he's never dropped below adequate in any of them.

I know this probably won't enter into it, but I feel Donaldson owes the Bulls. He's had a number of bad injuries but the club has always offered him a new deal. They could quite easily have cut their loses and said due to the length of time you've spent injured we're letting you go.

Donna and Mellor the key for me. Mellor seems give the indication he's like to stay.
