So is the RFL wrong to be concerned? Would the game not miss the club if it went into liquidation?

If you're sick of reading about all this there are other boards you can go to.

Who's said that. Why do people constantly just make up what people actually say just to try paint them in a bad light. No one is saying we're bigger than the sport. Would RL still carry on if we're liquidated? Of course it would. Would it be a blow to sport if Bradford were to fold. Yes.

The sport overall is hemorrhaging fans at an alarming rate. The RFL are losing funds from sport England due to declining participation numbers. It would be a blow to the sport to lose a club that has a very solid fan base and is one of the best clubs at developing juniors in the country? Yes. RL can't afford to lose any club whether it's Bradford, Sheffield or York.

I agree about the corrupt owners. We're more desperate than anyone to have an honest owner.

Can we get a few 'cut your cloth accordingly" quotes in before page 250?

Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

I can take my red, amber, and black tinted glasses off but it makes little difference to my view. The plight of Bradford is one of many symptoms that indicate a game in difficulty. Equally in saying that the game is poorer for not having a strong Bradford is in no way the same as saying Bradford are the be and end all. Surely only the most parochial of tits would argue the state of Bradford is anything other than damaging to RL in this country.

Some sad people just seem to get a kick out of rubbing our noses in it.

If this happened to another club I'd be keeping my counsel and hoping they come through it rather than hanging around their message board to remind fans of what a useless set of owners their club has had (no poop Sherlock) and how they couldn't expect any special favours.

I've said it before - the Bulls are a canary in a mineshaft here. It's not being said that the RFL or RL needs Bradford - but if we were to liquidate what does that say about the state of the game when there is not enough money around to save a club that were Super League champions just over a decade ago no longer exist? A pittance in wider sporting terms too! Basket case or not - we aren't the only club being forced to live hand to mouth, and the situation at the Bulls are symptomatic of various problems at various clubs throughout the land. Not a dig at the RFL, or any club, or anyone in particular, it's just reality.

No need to mourn us if we pass if you don't feel like it, but don't stick your head in the sand and say what is happening at Odsal is an isolated event, more "there, but for the grace of God".

I can recommend the Featherstone supporter's group on FB for a fair and balanced view where past transgressions by people who haven't been associated with the club in over a decade are recognised for what they are.

You wouldn't be in this mess if you cut your cloth accordingly

Exactly right. The majority of SL clubs would find themselves in administration if their sugar daddies suddenly withdrew their backing.

Even clubs as big as Leeds were in serious financial trouble as little as 20 years ago. If it can happen to them it can happen to anyone.
