And so it continues.... As many have said for a while it's all about odsal. Simply put the RFL doesn't want to end up with the bidder walking away with a big asset (land) and the stadium being neglected for profit making developments. The bidder wants the lease so they can develop off the field and make the Bulls viable.
The bidder isn't willing to take on the club, like the last few have done and hope to discuss the lease and developments when the RFL have time. By that point they will have thrown money down the black hole like the others have. Whether we believe Green I'm not sure but he has supposedly been negotiating for the lease for two years... you can understand the bidder's worries there.
The difference is the administrator this time and bagging him is a little unfair. He has pushed both parties hard and convinced the RFL and bidder to take a sensible view on the lease as that is the only way the Bulls will work. The last two admins were very much dictated by the RFL and matters have only become worse. The administrator has done his job for the creditors and is also working to avoid this happening again which is kind of above his traditional remit.
I remain confident but I can understand the difficulties between the RFL holding firm and the bidder wanting the lease to try to stem the financial black hole
