on what day though? - normally a meeting is "adjourned until <insert day/date>" whereas this has been left open ended - or is it standard practice that an adjourned meeting reconvenes the following day?

Will the meeting conclude before the season starts? At this rate, might as well just play the first few games and see what happens. It's as good a strategy as most have been so far.

Exactly. So perhaps he's nervous cos he realises they can talk to each other directly without having to pay his hourly rate for bringing nothing to the meeting.

Ha ha, maybe he is - though he's clearly got nothing to worry about as they're hanging on in there like good 'uns without him to slow it down. Everybody talking at once and no-one listening, I suspect.
