If nothing else it puts pressure on Brough and lilley and gives us better quality injury cover. If he comes with right attitude could be a long term partner for lilley and gives us some stability in Halves. Don' think there's that much to choose between him and Keyes as both have strengths and weaknesses. But Keyes does tend to miss a fair few games through injury which is only going to get worse as he gets older.

For the level we are at, Patton should be a very good addition to the squad. Brough is obviously going to need managing a little bit next year so Patton will get plenty of game time at the Bulls.

Fingers crossed their isn’t a release clause in there and we can at least hold onto him for 2022, should hopefully work out well for both parties.

Well both sides who progressed last week got walloped and we would have been the same so I can’t say I’m too sad to have missed that!

I actually hope Fev manage promotion now, they’ve been up there or thereabouts for such a long time. Plus it will upset SL clubs which is always mildly amusing. Might set a bit of bum twitching off in the Wakefield post codes as well!
