I know you mean well Roger but be careful what you put on here. I would hate for any kind of deal your kid is offered be scuppered because of a few message board posts.

Players like him won't be on a lot. He could easily be part time at Rochdale, have a career outside the sport, and earn more than what he was on at the Bulls. Look at Sheffield. It's likely he's been told that the same situation regarding the amount of playing time he got towards the middle to end of last season would apply again this year. Better to take the opportunity to be playing regularly than not at all.

From yesterday's T and A, "Clark and Oscar Thomas are the only two confirmed new faces at Odsal for next season but more recruits are expected before the big kick-off in February."

Is this an about turn from Ferres statement?

Well the club seem to have grasped the fact that Ferres needs to be seen and not heard with his "we're all doomed" bit.

But I'd imagine that we'll be seeing certain players leave the club and replacements of a better quality brought in

Well we need to bring in some quality now if we are to stand a chance next year. Wakey squad looking very very useful. Leigh will be a lot stronger and more experience in those 8's. Need a big signing to lift the club. One decent quality signing could see us in the mix again a long with PROPER squad management! But our best chance has been and gone and we blew it she to squad management.

We have quality in the side.

We just need to make better use of it.

If we go the whole season with a fit Gaskell, Mullaney and Sijeka then I think we'll be a very different side in 2016

True but we still need some sort of quality for when Sidlow Clough Ferguson need a breather.

But I agree if we can get that spine playing together continuously, we will be better
