Mick Gledhill has retweeted a comment about barrow signing a super league player. Guessing its a bull with obvious guess being Donaldson seeing as he's from that way.

Hopefully if it is dowes or Donaldson then they have a similiar cooling off period to that of Martin Aspinwall.

Has he signed a player yet?

I thought Pryce did well and with a lack of wingers in the squad and doubts over Purtell in the right centre I don't understand this.

squad list updated with this mornings news of Pryce Joseph Ball and that Ainsco and McAvoy are in discussions as well as those previously mentioned, source of the news about contract discussion and date added too. thats a lot more clarity in the reserves/young players, and lays the ground for some new signings and new contracts of existing players. Again both nas and Sammut are referred to as possibly going to follow suit and sign a new contract, I still don't know how that can work based on what we know about the quota.

well im hoping we have some signings lined up for the outside backs, otherwise I do not understand the decision to let a player with a decent try scoring record, who can play in a number of positions, and whos should not command a large salary leave a thin squad.
