No mockery required. There is a world of difference between your fair and measured criticism of Briggs and the mean-spirited and bizarrely final stuff Eddie and Bullschamps have doled out to Briggs and Herbert.
There is an objective difference, I'm surprised so many can't see it.
if you don't like what eddie and bullschamps say then don't add fuel to the fire and ignore it like most people do!

I'm not defending anyone for verbally attacking a player. My comments were about the board in general and some of its 'holier than thou' members.
I don't think there's a perfect poster on here. This place was happier and more harmonious when the Bulls were all-conquering, but it's still enjoyable to read in and amongst the handbags sessions.
By the way everytime i come on here and see new signing tomorrow it gets my hopes up but then i remember the discussion in hand. How about a new thread
Anyway, the continuing events on the field leave me convinced all the more that what we have is a player problem in the main.
I agree. But what though? If, for example, it were as simple as a disruptive player or players I'd expect Potter of all people to simply get rid of them whoever they were. So I don't think its that.
Could it be a Gypsy curse? I do feel a bit guilty from not buying that lucky heather from Gary Hetherington.

I suppose that, whatever the standard press articles may say, and for whatever reason, the group we'e got aren't 100% a team. Maybe they're not that far off - I don't know. Maybe some are but there are the odd bad apples that you could throw out, but I suspect not.
Instead I suggest it's probably more complicated, and hard enough to explain, but let me put it this way - the team of 5 or 10 years ago, I'd be happy to go to war with, if I was one of them, as they would all have my back, and I would know they would fight to the end. In 2011 I think I'd buy a tin hat. I'm not saying there is no team spirit, or a dressing room rift, or anything as extreme as that, but perhaps the problem is that the players as a group aren't fully committed to 'all for one' etc. and ATEOTD are not ready to die for the cause, whatever they may protest.
I remember Peter Fox's motley assemblies of ageing rejects etc. They often had a siege mentality and were fiercely committed to each other and this made them so hard to beat, even where on paper the other team man for man had many superior players. Maybe that's the missing ingredient.

At the risk of upsetting you, are you the same JBT1991 that instead of ignoring a spat involving gurus and b4c wrote:
You are all pathetic little girls trying to get one over on each other. grow a pair women and get on to the topic
So, it's OK for you to get the kerosene out and wade in? Do as you say, not as you do, right?
And again, if you don't like anybody's replies to what eddie and bullschamps, or anyone else, say then why haven't you taken your own advice and ignored that?
As for fuel to fires, personally I think the 2010 flame wars have died down to a mere smoulder on here, and it's about as sensible a forum as I know. I'm happy with the mods' policy as it seems to be, to head off lengthy arguments at the pass. When did we last have a fire? I can't remember.
If a person's posts consistently wind you up, or even you just don't like reading them, why not just "foe" that poster? Then you don't get to see any more of it?
The way I see it, if someone makes a post on here, and the mods allow the post to stay up, it must be an acceptable post within the forum rules, so see no reason why people shouldn't reply to it. By the same token, if a response is out of order, what is wrong with letting the mods deal with it? Or even reporting the post yourself - there's a one-click button just for that!
Wow that was some digging you did, i'm sure everyone one of us have some contradictions in our posts. Anyway that was off topic as that was a reminder to talk about the topic not to say there opinion is rubbish as that was full blown argument. I take your advice and Ignore all posts due to pope having been catholic and......
