Hmm I'm trying not to get carried away, just remember how our season was going before this run of 3 victories. We have blown plenty of games we 'should' of won so I'll be saving my giddyness until we're actually in the 8. Oh and we still need Harlequins and Catalans to lose another match each yet.. it's been a funny old season and I wouldn't assume anything! I may get a little more giddy if things go our way today though..

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

If 2005 was Jaws (except it turned out the Rhinos never got themselves a big enough boat), then what's 2009? If you were being generous you'd say Rocky, but I'm thinking Little Miss Sunshine.

But Rocky looses the fight at the end of the film

High School Musical

We're all in this together!!!

Sheet that's no good the winning team in that is the Wildcats.

What about Kes. The Kestrel (our slim playoff hopes) make life slightly more bearable for Billy Casper (us) but it ends slung in a bin with a broken neck thanks to our bully of an older brother R Judd (Leeds Rhinos).

You can lead a horse to water but you can't climb a ladder with a bell in both hands.

Let's go for mission impossible. In fact how cool would it be to hear the players run out to that today?

Personally I think it would show someone at the club had a sense of humour!

You're all busy folk, so you should've just read my assessment weeks ago, when I told you all that if we did our end of the business it all would boil down to Wakey winning in France. This they've now done so it is as far as I'm concerned now entirely in our hands. Win two, we're in, drop a point and we're out.

Hmm - Catalans and Quins still have it in their hands to stiff us regardless of our results. Anyway, didn't you write us off even before the Cas home game? :)

BTW, just noticed that were we to make the play-offs and nick a win in Wigan/Wakey, we'd likely have a shot at Shuddersfield on their near-as-dammit tenth birthday...

Hey, I'd only had a single bottle of (bizarrely) London Pride! Lost track of the amount of wine I'd downed before that, though!

Yes, but the question wasn't whether I thought we would do it, but whether arithmetically it was possible. The way it looked to me wheh I put up all the remaining fixtures and analysed them was that all the clubs in the mix for 8 were due to play each other and thus what looked like a hopeless position was nt in fact hopeless. From that POV. Still didn't think we would produce an unbeaten run, and still don't, when sober and thinking straight.

And that's not because of the other results, which I remain convinced will go our way. It's because we had some, and still have one, HOME game left. And we've had so many kicks in a testicular direction at home that I now come to the games wearing a box.

However there is a part of my brain - the front bit, sadly, which always is convinced that we are going to win the next game. Can't shake it off!

Today's bet is with Paddy Power - Salford evens with a 14 point start. I couldn't bring myself to ever bet against the Bulls so I'll leave it to others but what are they thinking?
(I'm on Bulls by 6 -15 which is around 6/1. On the Odsal games I have a whole lot of cash to get back)
