| Johnson and Tindall will be welcome additions. Both have played with us before and bring quality in their respected positions. I don't know much about Leon Ruan but he seems highly regarded by Rohan Smith. The pitch is still going to be heavy after last weeks snowfall so I'd be tempted to go with a bench loaded with forwards to hopefully win us the arm wrestle. I'd go with:
Holmes
Blackmore
Arundel
Gill
Tindall
Patton
Lilley
Scurr
Flanagan Sr
Foster
Butler
Wallace
Appo
C. Johnson
J. Johnson
Rodgers
Baldwinson

Decent acquisition for the Blue Sox. I knew his days were numbered when Fev brought in Aekins and Kheiralllah.

| Ruan starting in 2nd row today, interesting game to predict, may lack some experience in the pack. Tight game to call but looking forward to it.

| 24-12 to the Bulls at half time. We started like a house on fire and Sheffield have crept back into the game after being 20-0 down.

| Great two points. Made hard work of it, but Sheffield are no mugs. Whitehaven beating York shows how tough this league is. Joint third having played all the top half apart from 1 is good going. 3 of our best players in Walker, Lawrence and Thompson missing today.

| A really enjoyable game to watch. After we smashed Sheffield in the first 30 minutes, they recovered well into the 2nd half. We'd probably have capitulated last year, but the whole team dug in, and saw the game home.
Well done the team and Dunning.

| Massive win against one of the form teams of the competition. To say we've done it without 3 of our top players is another big statement. Great to see us bend but not break when Sheffield had large amounts of pressure during that second half.

| Good performance and an entertaining game. We got off to a great start - I think Sheffield were still on the bus. Then we had a real arm wrestle. Again out discipline was good and we capitalised on Sheffield's mistakes and penalties.
Thought Holmes was great again. That move where he runs a drop off from Patton got us two tries. Arundel had a decent game and in the forwards it was really tough. Scurr was very good and picked up from last week.
Of the Leeds lads I thought Tindall was the best. Ruan looked a bit below par and Johnson overplayed a bit when it needed something simpler.
