Presumption, I am presuming

Joe is under contract for us, and IF Halifax want him (and there is zero evidence that they do) then they will need to pay a fee as he is under contract to us. That's how it goes, unfortunately (for Halifax... )

In any event, I'd be more inclined to believe it if it were a SL club wanting him - he's too good to be playing for us, if truth be told, so he's certainly far too good to be slumming it at Halifax.

Is there scope for reporting Fax to the RFL for approaching a contracted player?

Keyes has already spoken of his desire to repay the faith and patience shown towards him by John Kear. He’s under contract and firmly in the clubs plans and as others have said I reckon he will be pushing for a shot at SL before too long.

Just a bit of mischief making from our friends in Halifax.

I think Mikey has previously said he would like to stay but I don't think he was ever offered a deal and I believe he may have sorted himself one out elsewhere (don't hold me to this, i'm just reading between the lines on what I've been told). If the case then I'm sad about that as I think he offered a lot to us in the future and his work rate in defence in particular was very under-rated.

Ive been told by a reliable source that Mikey Wood was offered a deal months ago but hasn’t been able to sign yet but now has other offers from other clubs so who knows if he is going to stay or not?
