As someone has already said, the articles where wrote by the same people you said Roberts was first inline for the club and then a day later he came out and said he wasn't interested.

Indeed. I've heard all kinds of cobblers about all sorts of different characters in this saga. I've learnt from the last two admins that the eventual owner is often the one out of leftfield that nobody's heard of.

Seeing as Chalmers is still listed as a director or whatever at Salford, does this not raise the question of Marwans involvement in the background despite his statements that he never wants to own another rugby club, only Salford. He is not unknown for making statements that assume stupidity from the ones who are listening..........................or performing the due diligence checks.
