Yes you would.
Seriously though, it's a real factor. Look at the Brand thread and see to how many people the name "Bulls" means something and for how many people "Northern" does. Run that poll again now and see how it goes, and ask what accounts for the difference.
More rules to be broken is more sticks to beat the fans with. And I for one am past sick of it.
On here, the majority are sensible. On Twitter, they're not. Tony Hannan ran a similar poll on what the phoenix club should be called. Northern won the vote. Now, on Twitter, it's full of mental cases and other clubs' trolls, the former of which probably swayed the vote. On here, people didn't just vote, they explained their reasoning. I personally think that counts for a lot more.
What worries me is that the owner of the new club takes into account twitter polls and suchlike and brands it based on what they think the fans want. When in reality, it's not really a measured thoght process that came to that conclusion.
I say worries me, but FA was right when he said the name is very small in the grand scheme of things. But as discussed here, the name actually factors into other things like merchandise, kits, stadium branding etc. Keeping the Bulls name saves a lot of money. Getting a new name spends a lot.
