Etu Uaisele has joined Sheffield from Fev until the end of the season - still being linked with us for 2015.
At least this might see him getting some game time for the rest of the season.

Reading what Cas fans think of Fleming on their board, they all seem to think he's going to be a good prop. A lot wanted him to stay. So sounds like Jimmy got a good one here (hopefully)

I've been told Mark Aston has said Etu Uaisele is joining us next year on a 2-year deal.

And that Monday's announcement is Jake Mullaney.

Interesting. If rumours about mullaney house sharing with purtell are correct adds credence to purtell staying too.

What are you basing Etu Uaisele being a great signing on? I hope its not the same thing that Fev did.

Im not sure signing a player who cant even get in the Fev side is the way we should be going tbh
And its Anthony MULLALLY not Jake MULLANEY whos moving in with Purtell

We need depth. We need to increase our player pool on a much smaller cap.

Not that the RFL shafted us at all in any way, oh no, but we run the squad we do on approximately HALF the income we will be on next year, so talk of a much smaller cap, whilst of great relevance to us in terms of competing with SL clubs at the business end, is ironically pretty meaningless when talking of increasing our squad. Green will have twice the income, plus all ticket sales. We won't be loaded, but it'll sure feel like it.
