Another announcement Monday apparently.

Dan Fleming, yeah, I know little about him but it was good to get a complete left-field surprise signing which no-one whispered until this morning. And a prop (yay!) only half a dozen more front rowers to go.

If he wasn't on such an apparent wedge at Hull FC, I could see Arundel joining us permanently. Let's not rules out season-long loans from clubs either.

Would love to sign jay Pitts permanently as he's been good for us this year. Also would sign Danny bridge out on loan at the moment but again played well for us

How far down the line did Jay Pitts get with Featherstone? Was that scuppered by Nahaboo?

They offered him a contract but think it's all up in the air with featherstone , they we're ment to be another full time team but all rfl press release don't mention them been in the teams likely to be full time. Think he done a good job for us but depends what jimmy seen in these boys

Apparently Fleming played against us in the first game of this season? I can't remember, it feels like such a long time ago

I saw a fair bit of Dan Fleming last year as I got to a few Batley games because we sponsor them through work. Good workhorse prop who is VERY effective in the Championship. As already mentioned his best years are in front of him.

This is exactly the type of signing we need. Lads who will improve and grow with the team.
