On the scrum half front, I wonder if we'll have a look at one of Danny Craven, Tom Gilmore or Grant Gore, who are all at Widnes, even if it's only on a season long loan.

It's bloody boring now the season has finished and we have signed everyone but one player. It's going to be a long winter.

If Wakey can do a deal for Smith, Sammut re - signs for Bulls.

Done deal if Salford release Smith.

No its not. quite apart from FA's funtime thread, which I recommend you all join in the jollies on that, speculation can be about anything. For example I was wondering what are we going to do for pre-season? Traditionally we as SL have played a few Championship clubs and the odd SL club to fine tune the squad. Now we are Championship, do we play a load of SL clubs and an odd Championship? And is that a bad thing to play more SL in the preseason given it provides a benchmark for where we want to be in the super 8's? etc etc.

and if that fails a year or two ago I collected a number of pictures for an off season caption competition but never got to do it, I just need to find where they are, watch out for it. Maybe.
