Well. If he's cutting costs, then the 2 big ones are the hybrid squad and the academy. Which is why I was trying to work out the FT players. Because there isn't a lot of FT options in the championship, so they would either have to go p/t again, or try to get a lower level SL slot.
Green had several reasons for going, but the main one was it allows him to develop his mortgage business and become parttime. And York is a shorter commute.
The academy is different, as funding is matched by SL at the value of 1:1. We have to put in £100k of our own money to get another £100k funding. But that's another 100k if he were to scrap the academy.
My instinct would be we would go p/t, and keep the academy.
