He has a superb amount of talent, this experience will hopefully have made him more mature.

I've no doubt that there is an outstanding player in there somewhere. I think that he was probably ill-advised giving the interview at the time of him leaving, although I don't remember him saying that he should have been selected in front of Kearney, more that he felt that he deserved more chances, which I agreed with. Think back to the times that Franny played Foster at fullback. The one time that really sticks in my mind is Magic Weekend last year when Foster was clearly injured and played. What message does that send a promising young player. He'd every right to feel vexed IMO!

Shame we couldnt of kept hold of Cain Southernwood or maybe try entice him back into our halves,

Doesnt he currently play in the championship ?? Whitehaven ??

Think you need to set your standards a bit higher,he was way overshadowed by Murrell/Johnston
at shay last sunday.

Well it was more of a question as to what hes like nowadays lol

Not seen him play since leaving bulls - and from your comment i would assume he hasnt improved much and is pretty garbage ha ha

To be fair to him though those two are top quality Championship play makers and Southernwood was playing behind a pack that was being dominated.

In the Championship it seems that good halfs, props and centres and the hardest type of player to get hold of.

I liked Naughton too, he was great in attack and stood out by miles in the academy. The Championship would be the ideal level for him now. IIRC his defence was a little soft but he had plenty of potential.

He moved out to Oz to live with his Mum. Is she hoping to get him a club back here?

You are right but he still is a more effective prop forward than our so called props, even as a has been he knows how to break the line and play with a bit of nastiness something we badly miss.Our props aren`t brave enough to even tackle lickle ones, maybe I`m being unjust to Fakir.
