I've no doubt that there is an outstanding player in there somewhere. I think that he was probably ill-advised giving the interview at the time of him leaving, although I don't remember him saying that he should have been selected in front of Kearney, more that he felt that he deserved more chances, which I agreed with. Think back to the times that Franny played Foster at fullback. The one time that really sticks in my mind is Magic Weekend last year when Foster was clearly injured and played. What message does that send a promising young player. He'd every right to feel vexed IMO!
