I've been gloriously happy oohhh so many times over the years. We've, "appeared to have a future" after each, and every, recent session in admin or winding up. I think I've served my time on the bad news [I go back before 1963] and am therefore entitled to treat even more "good news", as gossip and pie in the sky wishful thinking - until shown otherwise.

Sorry it that's "sneering", but, after all, this is a forum to discuss and have banter with fellow bulls fans...

Incidentally, whether the club or administrator [or a court] would regard anything said as being a 'breach of confidence' would be a matter for them, but imo, all the so called in the know posts have been light on anything which gives any great information, like facts for instance. All fluff and no substance. A bit like a political statement, you know, vote for us and everything will be wonderful, can't tell you how, just trust us!

Btw, 'my mate' assures me that the Presley/ Lord Lucan deal is now the front runner as a buyer is on track to purchase Shergar. Deal to be completed next week.

I think youre being harsh. Franks been bang on in past and has given as much info as he probably could.

Accriding to him hes got rugby knowledge, strongly backed financially. When its confirmed we can see whether he is right.

Whilst I can see your point Bulliac, I think maybe there's a case for not tarring everyone with the same brush.

Sure, there's always plenty of people with genuine bull$hit. And I'm with you in a sense that it makes me very (VERY) sceptical about any posts of these type when it's an anonymous person I don't know in real life. But I also try not to put someone who actually does have a little info and is just trying to get people's moods up a little, in the same bracket as one of the idiots who comes on here spouting knowledge all the time and very rarely gets anything right.

I'm not greatly keen on the "I know something but I won't tell you all" format, I also understand the reasons when it's genuine. For example when I found about Richie Mathers and it wasn't common knowledge, if I'd have just come on here and blurted it out, my source wouldn't necessarily trust me again. But at the same time, I was trying to stop people getting hopes up that it was a world beater, since other less reliable sources had suggested it was. I suspect if Frank (and anyone else) does have legitimate info, then they're just trying to protect their source a little too, whilst still trying to cheer people up that it may not be another cowboy.

Whilst I'm not going to out and out believe anyone I don't know personally (which, to my knowledge, is nobody on this forum), I think perhaps some people deserve a little more respect for having previous for good info, than to be treated the same as someone who is 99% faeces.

League Express reckons it could all be over by the end of the week but we heard that last week.

Who have Salford set up dual reg deal with?
I haven't had time to grab League express, if it was us I was thinking there was a clue???
