Well we've got 4 main props with Bates spelling in as he develops. We've also got Ferguson and Addy who can both cover the front row at Championship level, so we're pretty good forwards-wise

Well now I'm confused! Loverugbyleague quota link (At least I can work out how to link properly!) So either the quota isn't 5, someone is exempt or someone has changed their mind. Anyhoo, as for Purtell, I dunno, I'm a little disappointed tbh.

... perhaps there is still some kind of World Cup overspill to the quota and Offerdahl is in that bracket, oh I don't know. Someone else will have to ask tomorrow, I will have already pished Jimmy off asking how we're gonna sort our shocking defence.

Pleased that he's staying. I would have like him to leave last season but I think that he's really stepped it up this year. Was arguably our most consistant player up until his injury. Either way, you won't get many better Aussie's playing in the Championship, not if you want to keep a decent squad depth anyway.

Interesting that Solly says overseas whereas until now the only reference was non-fed trained, and never have I seen a reference to a quota for both. Tonga falls within Kolpak so my view is Etu etc is not overseas

Need to see some backs and a scrum half now. 22 announced doesn't leave much for backs cover.

Nowhere near good enough to get into the top end of an 8 team play off.

Bates and Mellor are both teenagers with less than 10 games between them. Fleming, Davies and Offerdahl are wholly unproven at any level of the English game. Sidlow has had a poor season and Chev is an injury prone centre/second row who makes no impact at prop.
