Abusing the Queen for the Bulls game being cancelled!
Actually, I'd love to see that, it would be so amusing.

| Questions.
If the game tomorrow was to be played at Bradford and not London would it have been on. No.
Would Bradford Fans have been complaining about Quins travelling to Bradford on a week night. No.
Would Bradford have jumped at the chance to play Manly if asked even if it ment to switch a league game. Yes
Were Harlequins right take the chance to play Manly. Yes
Should they calloff the manly game to play Bradford that weekend. NO.
end of questions
The perfect season is we play without rearranging games, but the weather sometimes, see's games called off, and that means having to travel in midweek for the rearranged game. And its not only Quins-Bulls that gets called off, I expect the whole National League to get called off tomorrow which will mean parttime players taking time off from their dayjobs. Something the Bradford players wont have to do.

Most sensible post on here!!
weather cannot be changed and meant to be -7 overnight down in London
Manly game!!!, as a london fan I am not convinced about benefit of this game to us! BUT it was arranged between the RFL/ARL and both teams involved.

I went to the Halifax v Melbourne game last year and it pulled at fairly decent crowd and Halifax gave the near full strenght Melbourne a good game.

your missing the point ( but being a keighley fan suspect thats deliberate.) Bradford have had their pre-season disrupted by losing the hull kr game friendly to accomodate quins playing manly. The fact that the kr game wouldnt have gone ahead due to the weather is immaterial - as a friendly it wouldnt have been re-arranged. The bradford-quins match is a regular SL fixture and will have to be re-arranged, probably mid week which places bradford in the position of having to play 3 games in at max a ten day period at some point during the season. Hence we are now at an unfair disadvantage relative to the other 13 teams in the competition, however slight that disadvantage might be. whilst quins also have to play midweek they are doing this for there own benefit, getting the additional exposure the manly game gives them. They chose to do this. Bradford have had this situation imposed upon them by the league and are being further disadvantaged by the situation we are now in.

3 games in a week. Other than easter, when was the last time bradford had to do that. wasnt there a time when it was common to have midweek fixtures.
And why wouldnt they take the chance to play a leading NRL side. I think they are right to.

point is we're having to do that to accomodate quins, who get the benefit of the manly game as compensation. We only get the disadvantage.
quins are right in taking the opportunity to play manly but why should another team be put at a competitive disadvantage in the league to accomodate this?
