Sounds like Walker fit, Scurr & Fleming hopefully back training today. Brad England sounding doubtful so could be a few changes. Levys injury sounding serious unfortunately.

I'd be tempted to rest Scurr. He's still only 20 and the way he plays the game, we need to look after him and make sure he's not busted come the end of the season.

I'd expect at Jowitt and Gallagher at least to come in.

As a complete aside Ebon Scurr is one of the greatest names since Steele Retchless. He's a baddie from Star Wars.

If Ebon was short for Ebonezer it'd be even better.

I see Levy has copped a three match ban too.

Can Walker fit into smaller sizes yet?

To be fair to Walker, I think there's a decent prop in there. He was getting his nose through the tackle, landing on his front and looking for the offload as well (granted he forced them a little too much at times) the more he plays the fitter he will be and if he's fit come the end of the season, and we're in the play-offs, we've a good prop on our hands IMO

I think Levy will be out injured for more than 3 games anyway.

Swinton always used to be a cut price Leigh. Same dirty style but none of the flair. I don't know if that's still their preferred style but that sort of thing was easy to get sucked into.

at least we wont have to listen to that annoying fan of theirs. Allows takes his shirt off no matter what the weather and spends entire match chanting swinton,swinton,swinton,....

This is where we find out he's actually a director and is still their on the ourleague stream ;-)

I hope he does come good. I guess I'm still annoyed that he would be in that state in the first place after apparently training with us for a year already.

If we want to beat Swinton we need to put plenty of pressure on Ridyard. He's their main man.

I agree. He's improved from 0% to about 30% fit and you can definitely see a good player in there. Little bits are leaking out about the pre-season which whilst a bit disappointing suggests we have a ton of improvement in us. We're still tailing off second half and playing a bit narrow. Kear was right to go with 6 props but now with Levy missing and with Brough's passing I'd like to see us go a bit wider and see the centres come onto a decent shift move.

100% agree with this . Seems like a decent bloke and obviously has some talent. Whether or not he can get him self fit remains to be seen. I really hope he can.

With regards Sunday id imagine Gallagher in for England.
We are real short of middle forwards with no like for like for Levy.
Jowett to come in meaning Doyle not having to play the full 80??
That would mean Walker meaning to do much longer minutes which im not so sure hes up to just yet.

I still think we need to bring in another middle. Kear said we were in for Tangata but he chose Fax instead of us, there must be some cash available. I thought we may have got a loan signing in this week.

Does anyone know what Tom Olbison is doing, i havnt seen him sign anywhere but i may have missed it if he has.
