i don't think it matters so much now because the clubs announce their squad, you know who you're going to be playing. The Brian Noble quote still sticks in my mind!

I've never had a problem with this, if they are playing squad players then they should be able to pick from the squad

If they are playing a load of reserve or academy players that don't have full time contract, that is different though
