I feel for the lad here, He has been unlucky with injury this season as you have all mentioned and its unfortunate its happened so near to him being out of contract, but playing devils advocat and disegarding his personal circumstances it may prove to be somewhat of a blessing for the club.
For me the Bulls haven't got their moneys worth out of Solomona, we all know he can play and in the past couple of games he's done well (Anyone would think he needs a new contract
) but the amount of games he plays is becoming more and more limited, unlike his salary which is reportedly the biggest outlayed by the Bulls (Considering Deacons is susidised by £50k from the RFL; testimonial and all) For me I wouldn't offer the lad another contract. He's not getting any younger, he's noticably doesn't appear the "fittest" at the club (I love Frey bentos myself so I have alot of Sympathy) and he is becomming injury prone. Could it be time for Bulls to cut their losses and try and sell him?? If they could sell him now, they could possibly aquire a transfer feel aswell as freeing up cap space; im sure there might be some bidders for his services. then again he could get over this injury, hit the form of his life and all deserve a new contract. I just can't see that happening though and I think if I was Bradford I may try offload Solomona now, so I have money spare to ensure that the like of Menzies can stay. I think getting rid of Tupou, as much as it was bad press and came across to some as disloyalty from the club, was a shrewd bit of business and has proven that Bradford want to get their finances sorted and want the best for their squad and team.......I wonder if selling Solomona would be shrewd business and the best for their sqaud and the Bulls???
