Played in a game where a lad on the opposing side ended up dying as a result of his injuries. Incredibly numbing. Felt sick to the pit of my stomach as the news leaked out this evening.

Unfortunately had a similar incident last year where a new guy in training just collapsed and pretty much died right infront of us. It was horrible. The kind of thing that makes you not want to play rugby again.

Truly awful events and such a tragic end to a young life. Sincerest sympathies to all those who were close to him.
