It seems nobody wants to even start a thread for this one! Have we descended into such a fearful state...

Anyway, squad has been announced. Despite Kear moaning about all the injuries in the T&A we've named 21 - although how many of this lot are actually fit remains to be seen.



What are we thinking - heroic narrow defeat or absolutely battering. I'm going for the latter.

I'm going for an heroic defeat, followed by guff of how it shows the players care. We'll beat a patched up Whitehaven side and then lose to York.

Big big problems. Kears excuse ridden pre game video speaks volumes for me.
The bloke knows hes hanging on to his job by a thread. Realling off all those injuries like he did screams desperation.

If we do the heroic defeat, I'd seriously expect us to get beaten up at Haven

As an ST holder I still don't know if I can be bothered going. It's gonna be a cricket score and I am sure I can find a wall to paint instead

...and on the subject of injuries, I know RL is different because of the contact nature, you look at professional footballers who go through a run of injury after injury.

When they move clubs a decent conditioner looks at the history and tailors their fitness plan to strengthen areas and before you know it the run ceases.

Yes you get dislocations and concussions but torn muscles and the like sit with the conditioner, why are we so injury prone, why does recover take so long? Could it be because the players aren't fit or conditioned well enough for the game?

Sam Scott named is a miracle given how he was helped from the field vs Halifax.

I’ll be going tonight but expecting the worst. Hopefully we begin to put some pride back into the shirt tonight with a good, full blooded performance.

The attitude and body language of the players tonight will speak much louder than the scoreboard

What is the punishment (other than a 24 nil loss) if you elect to not play a game? Mind you, poor West Wales would be using that for every away game if it were possible.

I've got twitchy feet, tightening ar$e cheeks, increased heart rate, and a sense of impending doom - must be game day with The Bulls.
Despite my better judgement, after watching the Halifax debacle, I've given into temptation and am preparing to throw £20 quid into the Odsal chasm once again. But that's it then - if there's another performance like last week, I'm done. Groundhog day again
