Jordan Tansey : Mon Apr 20, 2009 4:38 pm
By heck this one would be a bitter pill to swallow if true, but I hear we are interested in Tansey who is playing reserve grade in Oz

For mine he offers pace, support play, good kicking game, can play lots of back positions including fullback. Not sure if hes creative enough though.

Also heard that Macca is eyeing up NL1 talent in which case we might be about to gazump Wakefield as JK made some telling comments about the players in the lower leagues on the SL show

I though he was still contracted to Leeds though, he'd gone down there for experience?

Does not really matter if he has got a legally binding agreement with Leeds you will still sign him.

You can always pay the legal debts offf over a few years

Kyle Briggs (Donacster) and Jonny Woodcock (Sheffield) look pretty good but not sure about Super League there is a massive difference. Is there any other good player knocking around the lower leagues.

As far as Tansey goes, please no. Incredibly overrated.

For the National Leagues, the best players I've noticed are Beswick at Fax and McNally at Whitehaven. Sadly McNally has signed for Huddersfield already, as he's kicking the booty out of everyone in that league at the moment.

Ben Black at Fax also looks quite handy considering we're short of half backs.

Sadly not quick enough to play half back in SL, although he could probably give Deacon ten yards start

Aaron Groom looks a very good player at Sheffield. He played in the half backs for Fiji in the World Cup.
