I am undecided whether the developing combinations between Burgess, Menzies, Morrison, Newton and Deacon are quite enough yet to win this one on their own, but even with Lynch, Langley and Solomona out, we appear at this stage to have the best pack in the league, so if it plays half decent the platform is there. McNamara has done exceedingly well to put this pack together, even from what we've already seen. I especially enjoyed the awesome sight of it smashing HKR to bits, even though the end result didn't work out.
I'd assume that the attacking combinations and lines would be a bit better as each game progresses but if they're not, and if Jeffries continues in the same vein as he has started, we will again struggle to finish things off.
Still I'm going for a narrow win, 16-18, the difference being an opportunist try from Platt and a winning goal from Deacs.
