Anyone else wondering how the club decides on the music choices to be played at matches? Specifically the tune they put out after each game finishes? Sounds like some 1950s movie tune. It's beginning to grind my gears.

It's called Penny Arcade, by Roy Orbison (I don't think they're playing the original Roy Orbison version).

It's a very strange choice! I guess there's been a number of years where the result of games was (at best) uncertain, and so playing anything like "Simply the Best" might have been seen as tone deaf.

I've often wondered what the song is, but to be honest I quite like it now! Feel like marching on the spot when it begins to play!!

I can't stand it. I just don't get it. Makes me want to sprint out of the stadium. Maybe that's the idea?

Its definitely Roy Orbison but the guy who wrote it is from Bradford. I guess that's why they play it. I'd rather have Terrorvision on that basis though. https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/ ... %20Orbison.

If we're playing stuff by Bradford musicians and bands maybe we can change it up a bit. She sells sanctuary by The Cult would be a good banger to play after a win.

It doesn't seem to have any objectionable lyrics or anything.
