I'm slightly concerned as we approach the new season after losing 132-0 to Dewsbury. Paul Sykes was rolling back the years and came away with a tally of 80 points. We should sign him up for next year. I was also slightly concerned about our new singing on the wing, Mick Gledhill.

Why! he is known for talking a good game. Though his field craft could do with improving as he can be on the wrong part of the pitch occasionally

Not sure Nobby did the right thing in picking himself at hooker. He looked a bit pedestrian out of dummy half. Like the look of the big lad Wood who played prop.

The game against Dewsbury has now been rescheduled to Sunday 2nd February at 1:30pm. Original tickets still valid.

I don't use Twitter anymore so that link takes me to tweets from 2022. What's the story? Are they really not honouring tickets bought for tomorrow?

They've refunded all tickets and anyone wanting to go to the rescheduled friendly needs to purchase again.
