Questions regarding seeing a game at Bradford. : Mon Dec 16, 2024 9:38 am  

I'm an Aussie NRL fan doing a UK holiday next year, so I am planning on watching a RL game over there.

As a long time Jorge Taufua fan I have picked to see a Bradford Bulls game. I figured may as well find a team I have a reason to support, as it will make the game more interesting.

I intend to go to the home game 3pm 4th May, as that fits in with my travels. I have a few questions, and hoping someone can help.

Where do Bradford fans go for a drink pre-game?

Can I buy a ticket at the ground in the day?

Where is the best to sit/stand if I want some good atmosphere and banter?

I was thinking of wearing some Manly gear, as Jorge might appreciate it, but as you are playing the Sheffield Eagles, would a Manly jersey having an eagle on it cause problems with Bradford fans?

Thanks in advance for anyone who can give some advice.

There are a few choices. The Top House on Odsal Roundabout is the most prominent. The Red Lion or The Woodman on Manchester Rd are both 5mins walk from the ground and used by fans too. Finally Cue Gardens near the ground on Pearson Rd is a popular place too.

Yes you can but it's a bit cheaper if you buy online a couple of days before. There may be a bit of a queue to get tickets on the day so if you do it like that don't arrive any later than 30mins before kick off.

Stand on the terracing just up from the players tunnel. That's where the noisiest fans are. Anywhere in that vicinity is ok. If it's raining you're better off in the main stand. You can pretty much sit wherever. Nearer the middle is better.

None whatsoever. Hope you enjoy it. Might be worth your while getting a ticket for the Southbank stand at the end as you'll get to meet the players after the game in there.
