Good news. I think we've got a good one in EOC.

It shows the club back him and the players that don't want to come in the direction we're heading as a club can look elsewhere

Agreed, don’t think we could have got anyone better with our budget.
I for one have been impressed, talks a lot of sense, and has been at some very good clubs as player and coach.
Concentrates on the basic skills which most good coaches do.

Happy with that, EOC leading us into Superleague hopefully next season.

An interesting point is that he's knocked back an approach from a Super League team to extend his time with us. Not sure if it was a head coaching position or an assistant job but it is great to hear that he wants to stay with us and build for the future and create some consistency and stability.

My only tiny reservation is the length of the contract he's on now which is quite some time. If it doesn't work out then there's a lot to pay out.

Take your point, but the approach EoC has brought in seems to be very different.

Much more professional and would make any transition back to full time (and dare we dream SL) an easier (not easy) one.

The turnover in staff suggests we are weeding out the dead wood and poor attitudes that can be cancerous in any sporting team, but has got to be the right direction.

Potentially still a bumpy road for a while, but in 18-24 months, I think it'll reap rewards.
