We've brought in winger Connor Carr from Huddersfield and front rower Max Wood from Warrington for two weeks. Wood sounds like a handful. EOC: "Wood is someone we have been looking at for some time now. He will give us a point of difference and from the games I’ve seen he’s been very impressive. I thought we'd decided, post-the Mark Dunning era, that we weren't going down the DR/Short-term route anymore?

I don't think we ever had 11 players out under Dunning did we
We have both wingers out and Doro,Scurr,Okoro,Baldwinson missing in forwards

Dunning replaced fully fit players with loanees and dual reg.

Slight contrast in the context. Dunning shoehorned in as many loans/dual reg players as possible when our squad wasn't carrying any major injury losses. The way things are going currently with our injury crisis I might bring my boots and play 20 mins off the bench.

Moss has a chance this season if he’s recovered from that nasty injury and Gaskell remains injury prone. He was a standout in the Saints system including their reserves last year. Just Saints must have decided he wasn’t quite at the level of Lomax & Dodds and released him.

Johnson is still not in contact training with Leeds, his concussion was a bad one, can’t see him being available
