Not a case of giving up. We have had 4 or so years of making do. Already clubs are signing players for next season and all we can do is stand by and watch.



Both from a playing perspective and business one we have to root out the issues and move forward.



If the new bod really do think they have a solution they need to stop saying this stuff in public.



After nearly a month the money is there or it is not.



As is posted on another thread the club has a quite straightforward revenue and expenses p&l. IT does not take weeks to do a cash flow.

Clearly someone from the club has leaked all over the place the story that there will be an announcement about a deal with a benefactor which solves the short term cash flow issue. I don't readily remember a leak which has sprung up in so many places in such short order, since our Wayne 'fixed' the roof. More Niagara than leaks.



As it's been leaked it so assiduously, I assume it must be basically correct.

Someone at the club told me the same.

Be careful about anything said by people involved with the club, in situations like you find yourselves in a lot of it can be deliberatley planted disinformation (this doesn't just apply in sport - see mindless blatherings by any politician of your choice!).
