Extra time was needed to determine who would finish the game as Bradford Champions 2010.

In front of a large crowd at Odsal (3,000 est).

Was you there mick, I was the banker with the flag lol, sedgburgh wanted it alot more than clayton and the best team won even after i disallowed a try.

Cracking game, Sedgburgh did particularly well after suffering a last minute player withdrawal due to illness.

Why did you dissalow it? It looked like the Clayton lad knocked the flag down.

Shame Sellars didnt make the game. He's a good lad and it would have been nice to see him get his hands on the silverware.

clayton number 5 took the flag out with his body, but before the sedg player put ball down as they tackled him they pulled his leg around which hit flag before ball down, he was annoyed but he probably couldnt feel it.

Its best to wave at crowd when they start giving you abuse to try and get them back onside, worked cos next time they asked me to wave at them which i did again, if hadnt of done they could of given me abuse for being a boring sod etc so they soon changed from being against me to with me.

Didnt think before game that odsal could cope especially with losing bryn to wibsey but they turned up and clayton trained three times last week so maybe more tired.

Bryn is a good player but Sedge have a far better half back in Paul Bottomley. He's got better vision and passes the ball more often and gets the lads around the field better than Bryn could manage.

Did you run the line for both games?

No I was stood near dugouts for first game..paul mortimer and chris radford ran touch on first game..but I reffed wibsey a in semis at south bradford and bryn got motm playing at 13.

Bryn tries to do too much as on his own and suits 13, but when it comes of hes got a beauty sidestep.

Wondered why luke wasn't playing.

Very impressed with Sedge's youngsters & thought they could have won it comfertably if they had gone wide more often. Great effort from the 2 old boys for Sedge as well Browny & Kipper, thought there 17 was rubbish though

Thought crossley and redgrave were the only ones who tried to do owt for clayton.
