Shocking! They actually did it! I just can't belive it!

Long, Lolesi and Traynor in the interim is a good move. Hopefully it isn't McNamara that is joining permanently, plenty of more forward thinking assistants in the NRL looking for a step up the ladder.

Makes you wonder what Keiron will do now himself. Will he go and complete the learning he should have done before taking on the Saints job? Backroom in the NRL to learn the ropes or coaching in the Championship here? Or will he abandon coaching altogether? The sport even? He won't be a pundit that's for sure, he doesn't have the voice for that.

Who do you want next? I take it you are happy with it despite it being a club legend?

Yeah, definitely the right decision. Club legend as a player, but just didn't do enough of an apprenticeship before taking on such a big job. It was as clear as day his tactics and style just wouldn't work and he was too stubborn to change it. The major reason he's been unpopular is the style of play. We've abandoned the attacking led, never say die attitude that Cas are now playing and are playing like Bradford or London Broncos from the early Super League days. All we do is four drives and a kick. The majority of our games under KC have been incredibly boring and that has turned most against him even when we were winning towards the end of last season, most still wanted him out.

Expect Cunningham to be offered a role in Rugby Union!

More money for less responsibility.

Can't see another SL team offering him a head coaches role in the short term.
