Farrell ahead of Bateman seems a bizarre one for me but can't really argue about the rest of the selections.

Think that is the one that puzzles the most for most people. The Hull lad (Marinello?) should have been before Farrell as well as, yes, his own team mate

I suspect it might be because Bateman has played some matches at centre and loose? Whereas Farrell has always been second row.
