If Mark Percival is the player most of us think he is. His defence has come on leaps and bounds (it had to do looking at what is around him). The problem is, he is starved of the ball, not just good ball that gives him room but any ball. Percy and Makinson on paper are a pairing that would be the envy of many clubs yet saints do not appear to realise that as the play is usually toward the left flank. I would certainly consider swapping Jones and Percy over just to guarantee more ball for Percy. The only pass es Percy received last night were to clear our line. What a waste.

We've always played a bit lean on that right hand side, Shenton never got any quality ball either. Last couple of games he's not any feed because Burns isn't there to take the ball out wide.

I'm sure he'll get plenty of time to show his attack. He's still young and has managed to get plenty of tries in his early career.

Someone like newlove, iro, gibbs came as the finished article and were go to players.

As his stature grows he will get better and better and get more and more good ball.

If you don't want him we would gladly take him off your hands.
Agree with the view that he doesn't get enough of the ball.
Longer term he could be better than Watkins as his defence certainly when I see him seems very sound.

Percy doesn't get many chances. But he makes up for it when he does.

Class player. A natural rugby brain. Maybe he could be used better. But as I've said previously - a player starved of the ball at some point must go looking for it.

I'm sure Percy will grasp this when he reaches full maturity and is confident to trust in his own abilities.

Will always remember a young Percival making Ablett look like a statue when he opposed him at centre...wasn't he LC that day?
certainly one of Percival or Watkins has to start playing LC for the good of the national side

It is frustrating, but its a symptom of a frustrating team.
Turner has been one of our most successful attacking weapons in the other centre birth, but yet we've moved him.
Basically, our attacking playbook sucks.
