Nonsense. It's a backwards step at the moment. Tasi might turn out to be a TP type player who is a real gem, but we'll miss Mose. The fans that dismiss him as lazy and contributing nothing are clueless, he wouldn't be moving back to the NRL if that were the case. Mose is a unique asset in SL and one we'll definitely miss.
He certainly is lazy and that's 100% clear. Stats will also back that up as some weeks He only does about 7 carries in 80 min game which he usually does 30mins.
The problem with that, is we have three young lads as props in sav, Richards and Thompson plus our senior props in Amor and walmsley. It's not fair to ask young inexperienced props to do his work. It doesn't help the team nor the young lads.
You can get away with a lazy "impact" prop providing your front row is good enough. It's plain to see that young lads have found it tougher this year than we expected due to their age. That leaves amor and big Alex to carry the can. Amor can't walk when he's sunbed as he's run himself into the ground and we are going to burn Alex out with the work we are asking him to.
mose on his day is better than Tasi. On his day he's devastating when he wants to be but that's not often enough. We will get more from Tasi. He's big and a solid hard prop. We will miss Mose size that's for sure but half the time he don't run his size.
While I'll be sad to see such a good player on his day leave in mose, I thnk the team will benefit from having three hard working tough senior props.
